I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. the attention to detail was impeccable. From the beautiful watercolor postcard set with complimentary stamps, to the Noritake coffee cups and Kiriko glasses in the room, every little touch added to the overall experience. Secondly, the location of the hotel, nestled on a hill south of the town center, provided stunning views of the surrounding lush green trees and moss. It truly felt like a secluded retreat. Lastly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The small onsen indoor bath in the room was a wonderful bonus, letting me relax and unwind after a long day. The Japanese breakfast set served in the morning was scrumptious and a perfect start to the day.
No improvements needed, everything was perfect.

We spent a wonderful Christmas at this hotel and we loved every minute of it! The setting was absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful trees and overlooking the picturesque town below. We also loved that there were both public and private onsens available, each with a unique view of the surrounding landscape. The food was mainly vegetarian, but still incredibly delicious and healthy. the atmosphere was serene and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.
The lack of Wi-Fi. While it was nice to disconnect for a few days, it also made it difficult to do any research or stay in touch with loved ones.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled in a beautiful location on a hill south of the town center. The breathtaking view of the hills and Yufu-dake adds a touch of serenity to the stay, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The service provided by the staff at this hotel is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and received assistance with our every need. Their attentiveness and helpfulness truly made our stay memorable. The rooms at this hotel are spacious and clean, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day of exploring. The small onsen indoor bath in the room added a luxurious touch, allowing us to relax and rejuvenate in privacy. The breakfast served at this hotel was a delightful feast for the senses. With over 20 tiny dishes, bowls, and plates, we were treated to a variety of flavors and textures. The soft-boiled "onsen eggs" were a particular favorite, adding a unique twist to the dining experience.
All was impeccable, leaving no room for improvement.

Nestled in the most serene surroundings, the place was like a piece of paradise. the decorations, although minimalistic, were tasteful and well-suited to the tranquil atmosphere. the food was delicious, and the dishes were served with precision.
Inconvenient location. Poor service.
