I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. the attention to detail was impeccable. From the beautiful watercolor postcard set with complimentary stamps, to the Noritake coffee cups and Kiriko glasses in the room, every little touch added to the overall experience. Secondly, the location of the hotel, nestled on a hill south of the town center, provided stunning views of the surrounding lush green trees and moss. It truly felt like a secluded retreat. Lastly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were helpful, polite, and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The small onsen indoor bath in the room was a wonderful bonus, letting me relax and unwind after a long day. The Japanese breakfast set served in the morning was scrumptious and a perfect start to the day.

We also loved that there were both public and private onsens available, each with a unique view of the surrounding landscape. The food was mainly vegetarian, but still incredibly delicious and healthy. the atmosphere was serene and peaceful, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable.

The lack of Wi-Fi. While it was nice to disconnect for a few days, it also made it difficult to do any research or stay in touch with loved ones.
